University of Rome "Foro Italico"

University of Rome "Foro Italico"

 university of rome logo

The University of Rome "Foro Italico" (IUSM), the only Italian and one of the three European Universities entirely devoted to Sport Science, is highly committed to European cooperation and strongly rooted in the world of sport science, with a significant presence in international organizations such as the IOC, FIMS, ECSS, EFSMA, ENSSEE, AEHESIS, etc. The relatively small dimension and the vocational academic and scientific mission of the institution allow easy collaboration between research groups and the administration. Thus, IUSM proved to be particularly successful in promoting and coordinating international collaborative programs. IUSM is currently coordinating various International Masters and Doctorates, and coordinated three successful Tempus Projects in the sport science area so far. IUSM has also developed a modern Language and Audio-Visual technology center (CELBA) offering basic and advanced language courses and implementing e-Learning technology.
